Bring photo ID. Most common are Wisconsin Drivers’ License, a WI ID card, a U.S. Passport, a Military/Veteran ID card, a WI accredited college/university ID, a federally recognized Indian Tribe ID card, and a certificate of naturalization. If you need to register to vote on Election Day because you have changed your name or address, and the address on your photo ID is not current, you will need to bring an acceptable proof of address document with you. Acceptable documents include a utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, lease, tax bill, or document issued to you by a unit of government. You may show paper copy or digital version on your phone of your proof of address document. Click the underlined link.
 

If you have not voted for a while, confirm your voter registration status by reviewing your record at the My Vote website. Select “My Voter Info” and enter your name and birthdate to review your registration record. Click the underlined link.
 

The busiest hours of the polling place are usually 7:00am-8:30am and 4:30pm-6:30pm. Get in line before the closing time on Election Day, November 5th! If you are in line, you are still able to cast your ballot. Leave political items at home. Voters are asked not to wear or bring political paraphernalia to the polling place. The chief election inspector may ask voters to leave if they are judged to be electioneering or creating a disturbance.
